Best Friends Honey
Welcome to Best Friends Honey — honey made right here in Heathwood from backyard hives! Best Friends Honey is raw and harvested in small batches — straight from our hives to your home. No fancy stuff.
Heathwood · Columbia, SC
Why the name
Named for Shaw — and the bees.
Shaw Bunch (age 2½) and Todd Wilkinson (age 51) became best friends before Shaw could even walk!
Despite their nearly 50-year age difference, these two are the best of buddies. They love spending their afternoons outdoors, tinkering, gardening, and getting into a little bit of everything together.
Their families share the same stretch of the Kipling cul-de-sac, where neighbors are more like family. Shaw has never met a stranger and especially loves spending time with his favorite neighbors—the Wilkinson kids, Abigail, Colin, Gibson, and Katherine—and, of course, the thousands of buzzing bees in the backyard hives!
What started as an unlikely friendship between a toddler and his neighbor has grown into something extra sweet.
